Good News Translation The father at once cried out, "I do have faith, but not enough.
I give bird songs to those who dwell in cities and have never heard them, make rhythms for those who know only military marches or jazz, and paint colors for those who see none. Hey little man. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous judge, will award me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all who have loved his appearing.
You have been given the gift that many people, to their sometimes hurt, don't realize: we cannot produce faith. The word “hope” is the key to knowing if you have faith or not. The most famous Bible verse regarding the definition of faith is the one found in Hebrews 11. I have faith when there's no faith in him. I'm a believer, so I sing words of God to those who have no faith. And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love [reaching out to others], I am nothing. My faith is the grand drama of my life. “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God” (1 John 5:1). The way I understood it is that the only way you can have faith is if you are saved.
Help me have more!" This faith in the person and work of Christ is what saves (see Romans 10:9–10; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4). homosexuals do not FEEL like males so they question their sexuality. 1Cor1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perishfoolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. If we have genuine faith, it is a gift. Please help me to have even more."
